At the heart of this training is the Ask, Thank, Report, Repeat rhythm developed by Jim Shapiro and Steven Screen from The Better Fundraising Company. This fundraising rhythm increases revenue and deepens the relationship between your organization and your donors.

During the training event you will learn best practices for each step of the major donor development system.

  • How to identify current and potential major donors
  • When to ask for a gift and how best to do it
  • How to thank your major donors in a way that leads to more donations.
  • How to report in a way that thrills your major donors and makes them more likely to give again.
  • Track our performance in order to build an annual plan that’s repeatable (and improvable) each year.
