In 2017, as WVDO turns 40, we will host FOUR (4) half day conferences to engage, inspire and learn together. We hope these programs allow for you and your team to participate in training on a variety of relevant and practical topics that fit more efficiently within your busy schedules.
The 2017 Speaker Series kicks off with our 2017 Regional Conference Wednesday March 8, at the Sentinel Hotel. The half day will focus on practical skill building, individual giving programs, and donor retention with Keynote Lynne Wester: Donor Relations Guru. Join us for networking with your peers, tools-based breakout sessions and a keynote which will have you back at the office with tools to implement that afternoon.
Keynote Presentation: Donor Retention isn’t Speed Dating
The concept behind speed dating is to meet as many people as possible as quickly as possible—and 99% of them you’ll never see again. Actually, that’s not too far off from the statistic that 80% of donors never make a second gift. So what can you do to develop a successful donor relations program, what works and what doesn’t, and how can you improve your retention rate? Learn how to form a lasting relationship with your donors.
WVDO Members $150 | Non-members $245
