PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION:
Establishing meaningful connections with members is more than texting or posting on Facebook. It requires a strategic commitment to integrating all types of communication, digital and analog, into a unified, internally consistent message. Don’t confuse the tool with the task! There are many novel ways to engage members with your organization’s mission. Not all of the tools out there involve large budgets or dedicated staff. With existing resources and a little creativity you can still bring your communications into the 21st Century.
SPEAKER BIO:
Bianca McCarthy has been involved in fundraising for over a decade. She has managed membership and annual fund at two of Oregon’s largest cultural institutions: OMSI and Oregon Zoo and volunteered with Portland Center for the Performing Arts and Portland Art Museum for years, holding a variety of leadership positions. Presently she is the Director of Development at Lan Su Chinese Garden.
