Membership Transfer Guidelines
If you pay for your WVDO membership with personal funds and subsequently change jobs, you are invited to transfer your membership with you to your new position. To update your information, please contact the WVDO office via phone or email (info@wvdo-or.org).
If your employer pays for your WVDO membership, and you subsequently leave the organization, then your former employer retains the membership and has the right to transfer the membership to another staff member within the organization.
SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS
WVDO offers a limited number of scholarships for annual membership awarded in two categories: Capacity-Building Scholarships and Professional Development Scholarships. The purpose of the program is to keep membership accessible for all members of the nonprofit community in our efforts to provide networking, training and professional development opportunities in the development field. All applicants for scholarships must be an employee or a volunteer of a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and have significant responsibility for development/fundraising and be committed to active participation in WVDO activities.
