The purpose of the WVDO Member Services Committee is to work on the strategies needed to gain new members, retain current members, create a forum for networking and provide meaningful services worthy of a professional organization.

Member Services Committee consists of the Member Services Chair, the Membership Chair, Member Benefits Chair, Networking Services Chair, Volunteer Chair, Scholarship Chair, Job Source Chair and interested WVDO members at large.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Member Benefits Committee - Needs someone who will contact an indentified organization or business to determine specific services or products they sell that they would be willing to provide to WVDO members at a defined discount.
• Membership Services Committee - Needs a committee member who will schedule and coordinate meetings, send reminders, and take minutes.
• Networking Services Committee - Needs someone interested in coordinating specific events, such as the Good Morning WVDO activity series (wine, beer, golf, etc.) or Idea Swaps.
• Volunteer Committee - The Volunteer Committee needs help designing a system to keep track of volunteers and their contributions to ensure that they are properly recognized and acknowledged.
